User Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, setting up accounts, permissions, and access to necessary tools.
- Handle offboarding tasks, ensuring secure deactivation of accounts and retrieval of company assets.
Technical Support:
- Provide timely and effective technical support to remote employees across different time zones.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the following tools and platforms:
- Communication & Collaboration: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.
- Development & Project Management: JIRA, GitHub.
- Operating Systems: Linux, macOS, windows
- AI & Automation: ChatGPT, OpenAI, Claude.
- CRM & Sales: HubSpot.
- Cloud Hosting: Linode, AWS, GCP.
- Assist with hardware and software setup, configuration, and maintenance.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the management of our cloud-based systems, ensuring uptime, security, and optimal performance.
- Implement and manage security best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to cloud services, particularly on platforms like Linode, AWS, and GCP.
Automation & Scripting:
- Develop and maintain small scripts to automate repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- Streamline processes such as user management, data backup, and system monitoring.
SOC 2 Compliance Support:
- Collaborate with our compliance team to maintain SOC 2 compliance.
- Implement security controls and document processes to support audit requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of security policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Integration & Optimization:
- Ensure seamless integration of various tools and technologies used across the organization.
- Optimize the use of AI and machine learning tools such as ChatGPT, OpenAI, and Claude to enhance productivity and support.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems, and configurations.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance status.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, preferably in a remote and cloud-centric environment.
- Strong familiarity with the following tools and platforms:
- Communication & Collaboration: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.
- Development & Project Management: JIRA, GitHub.
- Operating Systems: Linux, macOS. windows
- AI & Automation: ChatGPT, OpenAI, Claude.
- CRM & Sales: HubSpot.
- Cloud Hosting: Linode, AWS, GCP.
- Experience supporting SOC 2 compliance is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing cloud services and infrastructure on platforms like Linode, AWS, and GCP.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and system management.
- Solid understanding of network security, VPNs, firewalls, and encryption.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear and concise technical support to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
