Position: IT & Lab Administrator

Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining IT lab infrastructure, configuring systems (laptops/Server), and providing basic network and user support, including initial troubleshooting of connectivity and firewall-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize lab equipment (laptops, servers, cables, peripherals)
- Install and configure Windows/Linux systems, software, and user accounts
- Provide L1/L2 support for system, application, and hardware issues
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Perform basic checks for firewall/VPN/access issues and escalate when required
- Monitor system health, perform updates, and ensure antivirus compliance
- Manage IT inventory and maintain documentation of setups and issues
- Ensure proper cabling, power, and cleanliness in the lab environment
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux administration
- Understanding of network fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with tools like ping, ipconfig/ifconfig, remote desktop tools
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics
- 1–2 years of experience
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of firewalls and VPNs
- Experience with remote support tools (RDP, AnyDesk, TeamViewer)
- Basic scripting (batch/bash) is a plus
