Role: IT Admin
Work Location: Surat
Experience: 2–3 Years
Function: IT Operations
The IT Admin will play an important role in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, minimizing technical disruptions, and providing timely technical assistance to employees.
You will:
• Ensure Smooth IT Operations by maintaining reliable systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Minimize Technical Downtime by proactively identifying issues and providing timely troubleshooting and support.
• Strengthen IT Security by maintaining access controls, implementing security practices, and ensuring proper system management.
• Optimize IT Asset Management by efficiently tracking, maintaining, and allocating company hardware and software.
• Enhance Employee Productivity by providing timely technical assistance and ensuring employees have the necessary IT resources to perform their work efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure & System Management
• Manage and maintain company hardware, software, laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment. • Ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and essential software.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate upgrades and maintenance when required.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist employees with system setup, email configuration, access permissions, and other IT-related requirements.
• Coordinate with external vendors or service providers for issues requiring specialized technical assistance.
3. IT Asset & Inventory Management
• Maintain an updated inventory of company IT assets, including laptops, desktops, accessories, and other equipment.
• Manage IT asset allocation, tracking, maintenance, and recovery during employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Ensure proper documentation of IT assets, warranty details, repairs, and replacements.
• Coordinate with the HR team to ensure employees receive the required IT equipment and access on time.
4. Network & Security Management
• Assist in maintaining office networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
• Monitor system security and ensure compliance with internal IT policies.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and password-related requests.
• Support regular data backups, antivirus updates, and basic security measures to protect company systems.
5. IT Operations & Coordination
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand and resolve their IT requirements.
• Maintain records of IT support requests, troubleshooting activities, and issue resolutions.
• Assist in IT procurement, vendor coordination, and maintenance activities.
• Support the implementation of new IT tools, systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency
Core Skills
• Good understanding of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Understanding networking concepts, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT asset management, system maintenance, and technical support.
• Familiarity with user account management, access control, and basic IT security practices.
