Job Summary

We are building a cloud-based ISO Management & Certification SaaS platform designed to support ISO-related processes across certification bodies, auditors, consultants, and client organizations.

We are looking for an ISO Domain Expert / Process Consultant with strong exposure to ISO standards, audit processes, and compliance workflows, who can help define business processes and guide product development teams in building a practical, scalable ISO-focused software product.

This role will collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owners, and Engineering Teams to ensure the platform reflects real-world ISO practices while remaining adaptable across different organizations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • ISO Process & Domain Understanding

Contribute domain knowledge across ISO standards and audit-related workflows, including:

Client onboarding and application processes

Audit planning and execution (Stage 1 / Stage 2 concepts)

Non-conformity and corrective action handling

Certification, approval, and ongoing monitoring activities

Support workflows across multiple ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 45001, ISO 17025, etc.)

  • Business Requirement Support

Help Translate ISO Processes Into

Business requirements

Process flows and user journeys

Functional use cases

Support definition of user roles and permissions relevant to ISO and audit environments

Act as a domain reference point for ISO-related questions during development

  • Product & Agile Collaboration

Collaborate With The Scrum Master And Product Team To

Support backlog grooming and refinement

Clarify domain-related acceptance criteria

Review features from an ISO compliance perspective

Participate in sprint reviews and discussions to validate process alignment

  • Compliance & Quality Perspective

Provide Guidance On

ISO documentation expectations

Audit traceability and record retention

Compliance-friendly data handling

Assist in ensuring workflows align with general accreditation and regulatory expectations

  • Cross-Team Communication

Communicate ISO Concepts Clearly To

Technical teams

Product stakeholders

Help simplify standards into implementable system behavior

Experience

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in roles involving ISO standards, audits, quality management, or compliance, such as:

Quality Manager / Quality Lead

Internal or External Auditor

ISO Consultant

Compliance Manager

QMS / EHS / ISMS Professional

Hands-on exposure to ISO audits and documentation practices

Domain Knowledge

Working Knowledge Of

ISO management system standards

Audit processes and NC handling

CAPA and corrective action workflows

Experience working with certification bodies, labs, consulting firms, or regulated organizations is a plus (not mandatory)

Collaboration & Communication

Ability to explain ISO concepts in simple, practical terms

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams

Willingness to learn product and SaaS concepts

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Experience with ISO software tools or digital QMS platforms

Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments

Understanding of SaaS or workflow-based applications

Experience across multiple ISO standards or industries
