Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manhattan iSeries WMS Consultant with both functional and technical expertise in Manhattan's iSeries-based WMi (Warehouse Management for IBM i) platform. The ideal candidate will be able to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and implement technical enhancements to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support for Manhattan's iSeries WMi application.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations in iSeries (RPG/CL/SQL).
- Configure and maintain WMi system setups, workflows, and rules.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between WMi and other enterprise systems.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application stability.
- Review changes to base WMi and provide recommendations or impact assessments.
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and process flows.
Experience & Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience with Manhattan's iSeries WMi solution.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in iSeries, RPG, CL, and SQL programming.
- Strong understanding of WMi functional workflows (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory management).
- Knowledge of DB2 database management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with business users and technical teams.
- Experience with API integrations and interface development preferred.
- RFID experience is a plus.
- Exposure to WMi upgrades, patches, or version migrations will be an added advantage.
