Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manhattan iSeries WMS Consultant with both functional and technical expertise in Manhattan's iSeries-based WMi (Warehouse Management for IBM i) platform. The ideal candidate will be able to support day-to-day operations, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and implement technical enhancements to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional and technical support for Manhattan's iSeries WMi application.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements and customizations in iSeries (RPG/CL/SQL).
  • Configure and maintain WMi system setups, workflows, and rules.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration between WMi and other enterprise systems.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application stability.
  • Review changes to base WMi and provide recommendations or impact assessments.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and process flows.

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 5+ years of experience with Manhattan's iSeries WMi solution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in iSeries, RPG, CL, and SQL programming.
  • Strong understanding of WMi functional workflows (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory management).
  • Knowledge of DB2 database management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with business users and technical teams.
  • Experience with API integrations and interface development preferred.
  • RFID experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to WMi upgrades, patches, or version migrations will be an added advantage.
