Your role and responsibilities

Join our team and help shape the digital backbone of our Data and Analytics and AI domains. We are looking for a forward-thinking IS Solution Architect who thrives on designing robust, scalable, and compliant software architecture. This is a unique opportunity to shape enterprise-wide solutions and collaborate across global teams to deliver impactful technology.

The work model for the role is hybrid: #LI-Hybrid

The position is global. The preferred locations are China, Poland, India, Spain and Czech Republic.

Main tasks:

• Co-create and own the target architecture for Robotics AI and Data & Analytics domains, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business needs

• Define and approve IS solutions for production environments, guaranteeing quality, security, and compliance as well as manage requirement engineering and validate incoming business demand in collaboration with service owners and enterprise architects

• Act as the escalation point for architecture-related issues and ensure seamless integration across IS modules. Further, provide guidance to delivery teams and project managers on solution standards and architectural best practices

• Focus on innovations in space of AI and Data in the holistic ABB Robotics systems landscape

Beyond these core tasks, you will contribute to project setup and service optimization, support installation and change management of IS solutions, and engage with stakeholders to improve processes and add value. You'll also stay informed on emerging technologies, participate in communities of practice, and help shape strategic IS policies and frameworks.

Qualifications for the role

• 8+ years of experience in Application Management, Business Analysis, or Solution & Enterprise Architecture

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• Demonstrated proficiency in cloud and on-prem architecture, integrations, and large-scale system design

• Proficiency in delivering, managing, and designing D&A platforms

• Proficiency in understanding, designing and administrating AI backbone solutions or platform across multiple geographies

• Effective leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills

• Fluent English, both written and spoken
