Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, The IS Program Delivery Manager is a senior leadership role within the ELIP IS PMO organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery of all IS projects and programs across all IS Domains within the ELIP division. The role owns Program Execution KPIs - ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget - while leading a team of Project Managers (PMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The IS Program Delivery Manager acts as the central accountability point for IS program performance, governance, and continuous improvement.

The work model for the role is: Remote.

This role is contributing to the : Electrification (EL) - Industrial Products (ELIP)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • 1. Program Governance & Oversight

    Oversee the full lifecycle of all IS projects and programs within the ELIP IS PMO portfolio across all IS Domains.

    Define and enforce program governance frameworks, standards, and methodologies.

    Establish and maintain an integrated program roadmap aligned with ELIP IS strategic objectives.

    Lead stage-gate reviews, program audits, and milestone assessments.

    Act as the primary escalation point for program-level risks, issues, and decisions.

    2. KPI Ownership & Performance Management

    Own and drive Program Execution KPIs: on-time delivery, scope adherence, and budget compliance.

    Define, track, and report on program performance metrics and dashboards for senior stakeholders.

    Conduct regular variance analysis against baseline plans and initiate corrective actions.

    Ensure transparency in program status reporting to IS leadership and ELIP management.

    Benchmark program performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    3. Team Leadership & People Management

    Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

    Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for all direct reports.

    Manage resource capacity planning and allocation across the IS program portfolio.

    Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and delivery-focused team culture.

    Support career development, training, and certification initiatives for the PM and SME community.

    4. Stakeholder Management & Communication

    Serve as the primary liaison between ELIP IS PMO and all IS Domain stakeholders.

    Develop and manage stakeholder communication plans, executive dashboards, and steering committee presentations.

    Align program objectives and priorities with business leaders, IS Domain owners, and ELIP leadership.

    Manage expectations and proactively communicate program risks, dependencies, and status.

    Facilitate cross-domain coordination to resolve interdependencies and shared resource conflicts.

    5. Risk, Issue & Change Management

    Maintain a program-level RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

    Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery timelines, scope, or budget.

    Manage escalations and facilitate resolution of program-level issues.

    Oversee change control processes to ensure scope changes are properly assessed, approved, and communicated.

    6. Budget & Financial Management

    Own overall IS program budget tracking, forecasting, and reporting.

    Monitor actual spend vs. approved budget across all projects and programs.

    Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives.

    Provide financial status updates and variance analysis to ELIP IS leadership.

    7. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

    Capture lessons learned across program waves and promote knowledge sharing within the PMO.

    Drive adoption of IS PMO best practices, tools, and standardized delivery methodologies.

    Lead or sponsor process improvement initiatives to increase delivery efficiency and quality.

    Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging IS delivery frameworks.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree (MBA or MSc) in a relevant discipline (preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in IT/IS project or program management.
  • 5+ years in a senior program management or PMO leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-domain IS programs with multiple PMs and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and delivery KPIs at program level.
  • Background in industrial, manufacturing, or electrification business environments is a strong asset.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, or enterprise IS delivery programs preferred.

Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) - required.
  • PgMP (Program Management Professional) - strongly preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher - preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum (CSM, SAFe) - preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) - a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in program and project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and IS delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting/dashboard tools.
  • Familiarity with IS domains such as ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data & analytics, and digital solutions.
