We are building a world-class global IS/IT organization for ABB Robotics from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to join us at a pivotal moment in our digital transformation journey. We're creating a modern, secure, and scalable technology landscape to support our global sales, service, and production operations.

As a SAP BTP Specialist for Integrations and Platform Services, you will be instrumental in architecting and operating the cloud-based integration backbone that connects our ERP ecosystem and enables innovation at scale. You'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, collaborating with ERP teams, security leaders, and external partners to deliver a clean core, a robust integration landscape, and a future-ready platform that supports a global robotics business.

The work model for the role is hybrid. #LI-hybrid

This is a global role the preferred locations India, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, or the United States.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and operate SAP BTP infrastructureby managing subaccounts, entitlements, and platform services across development, test, and production environments, ensuring optimal performance, cost transparency, and operational stability
  • Architect and govern integrationsby designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integrations between SAP S/4HANA Cloud and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite, while maintaining clean core principles through BTP extensions
  • Develop cloud applications and extensionsby leveraging SAP BTP services such as Build Apps, Build Process Automation, HANA Cloud, and ABAP Environment to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business needs
  • Create technical blueprintsusing in-depth platform knowledge to define solution feasibility, implementation approaches, and interactions with existing systems while optimizing cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor and optimize platform performanceby tracking consumption metrics, identifying variances, and proposing counteractions to ensure efficient resource utilization and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures and coordinate issue resolution with platform teams or SAP support.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentoringby offering in-depth knowledge, guidance, and training to resolve integration challenges, support implementation projects, and develop team capabilities
  • Drive continuous improvementby assessing efficiency opportunities of emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommending enhancements based on technological, financial, and functional feasibility

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP integrations, middleware, or cloud application development
  • Strong expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite and deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA integration patterns and clean core principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex integration scenarios and performance issues in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, cloud platforms, and integration technologies
  • Experience with SAP HANA Cloud, CAP, Event Mesh, or SAP Build tools is highly valued
  • Proven track record working in global organizations with cross-regional stakeholders and complex technical landscapes
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills across technical and business audiences
  • Proactive, curious, and solution-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach comfortable balancing innovation with governance and security
