Basic Qualifications:
- Master's degree and 4 to 6 years of Information Systems and Database Administration experience OR
- Bachelor's degree and 6 to 8 years of Information Systems and Database Administration experience OR
- Diploma and 10 to 12 years of Information Systems and Database Administration experience
- Experience administering Oracle Database and related services & monitoring systems
- Demonstrable experience automating database provisioning, patching and administration
- Experience with various toolsets to monitor, fix, verify database and server performance metrics, server and storage issues
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and standard processes
- Understanding of operating system tools for performance and troubleshooting issues
- Excellent data-driven problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrable experience as part of a high-performance team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience provisioning and supporting Oracle RAC and Data Guard
- Experience working on regulated systems (preferably in the pharmaceutical sector)
- Change management knowledge
- Experience leveraging Ansible for automation
- Experience supporting PostgreSQL databases
Professional Certifications:
- Database certifications (OCP) (preferred not required)
