Join us in accelerating innovation across ABB.As the IS Community Learning & Content Lead, you will design persona-based learning experiences and create compelling content that drives adoption of ABB's Core Platform across diverse communities - from developers and engineers, to application and IS managers. Your work will directly enable thousands of ABB employees to leverage modern platform capabilities, break down silos, and accelerate collaboration and innovation across ABB.

The work model for the role is onsite #Hybrid

This role is contributing to the IS Services in India or Globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Learning Strategy & Design

1.Designs and develops persona-based learning pathsthat translate technical platform enablement resources into compelling, user-centric narratives tailored to the different communities personas

2.Applies UX principles and human-centered design methodologiesto ensure all learning & communications content is intuitive, engaging, and optimized for adoption

3.Collaborates with the IS Community Engagement Managerto develop community communication and enablement plans that support platform modernization goals

Content Creation & Delivery

4.Creates and delivers user-centric communication and enablement assets- e.g onboarding kits, how-to guides, video tutorials, microlearning modules, interactive demos-that drive adoption of Core Platform capabilities and services

5.Translates complex technical content into accessible, user-friendly materialsthat accelerate understanding and adoption across diverse user communities

6.Drives visual content productionfor community engagement and enablement initiatives, ensuring high-quality, brand-aligned deliverables

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

7.Continuously explores and implements innovative learning methods, tools, and formats-including AI-based learning, gamification, and interactive experiences, that lead to measurable improvements in user engagement, knowledge retention, and platform adoption outcomes

8.Measures and evaluates learning effectiveness, content engagement, and adoption impactthrough analytics and user feedback to continuously optimize learning experiences and demonstrate business value

9.Conducts impact assessmentsthat connect learning outcomes to platform adoption metrics and business objectives

Vendor & Resource Management

10.Manages external learning providers and content creation agenciesto deliver required content with excellence, ensuring cost optimization, service quality, and timely delivery

11.Curates and maintains a centralized library of learning assets, templates, and best practicesto ensure content reusability, version control, consistency, and accessibility across communities

Governance & Standards

12.Establishes and maintains content standards, style guides, and quality frameworksto ensure consistency, brand alignment, and content accuracy across all learning and communication materials

13.Collaborates with IS Communications stakeholdersto ensure alignment as required on messaging, brand guidelines, tone of voice, and content strategies across all community-facing materials

14.Implements governance processesfor content approval, version control, and stakeholder alignment

Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Enablement

15.Collaborates with technical teams and communities members to identify awareness and learning needs, content gaps, and platform updates requiring UX design and enablement support

16.Supports platform modernization and change initiativesby developing change enablement materials, adoption campaigns, and train-the-trainer programs that facilitate behaviour shifts and drive organizational transformation

17.Incorporates continuous improvement practicesbased on learner feedback, evolving community needs, and emerging platform capabilities to ensure learning content remains relevant and impactful



Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, behavioral science, business economics or related.
  • +5professional experience in content creation, learning design, or technical communications
  • Certifications preferred- Agile or Scrum Foundations, Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR), Instructional Design and Learning Design, AI for Communication.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging content across multiple formats including video, graphics, and interactive media
  • Knowledge of communication planning and product comms and enablement delivery
  • Experience managing multiple projects, external agencies, and learning providers simultaneously (Preferred)
  • Experience working with technical teams and translating technical content(preferred)
