Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize advanced testing equipment to assess the physical properties of
  
  

materials.

• Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and any nonconformities identified.
• Generate comprehensive reports and communicate findings to relevant
  
  

stakeholders

• Work closely with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement
  
  

corrective actions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on material-related
  
  

issues and improvements.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in incoming quality control
  
  

procedures.

• Implement efficiency enhancements while maintaining the highest quality
  
  

standards.

• Conduct root cause analysis for any non-conformities and develop effective
  
  

corrective and preventive actions.

Essential Attributes

• Must have hands on experience in using measurement equipment (calliper, micrometre,
  
  

2D/3D measurements scope).

Need hands on knowledge in SPC, defining AQL, supplier complaint (8D), supplier audit.

• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• In-depth knowledge of IC Packaging processes and PCBA
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Desired Experience Level

Minimum 10 years of experience in Incoming Quality Control in the EMS industry.
