- Experience Required: 8+ Years
- Work Location: Gurgaon, India
- Notice Period: Immediate Joiner to a Maximum of 30 Days
Key Responsibilities
- Network Engineering & Core Design: Drive the architecture, high-level/low-level planning, and robust implementation of core IP/MPLS networks. Deliver hands-on configuration for Layer 2 & Layer 3 Virtual Private Networks (L2/L3 VPNs) and modern Segment Routing (SR) frameworks.
- Configuration & Complex Troubleshooting: Execute end-to-end configuration deployments and act as the ultimate escalation point for diagnosing deep-tier network faults, performance bottlenecks, and routing instabilities.
- Multi-Domain Infrastructure Infrastructure: Supervise, optimize, and scale WAN, Metropolitan Area Networks (MLAN), Wireless LAN (WLAN), and Software-Defined Infrastructures (SDx).
- Network Optimization: Proactively monitor performance KPIs, identify capacity bottlenecks, tune traffic engineering parameters, and perform continuous optimization to meet stringent SLA baselines.
- Scripting & Automation: Drive operational efficiency by writing scripts and deploying automation tools (Python, Ansible, or similar frameworks) to eliminate repetitive manual configurations and automate validation checks.
- Technical Escalation & Crisis Management: Anchor high-priority technical escalations and lead critical incident management efforts during major network disruptions or service outages.
- Technical SPOC for L1-L2 Teams: Act as the primary technical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Tier-1 and Tier-2 operational teams, providing architecture insights, troubleshooting runbooks, and structured mentorship.
- Operations & Maintenance: Formulate and manage comprehensive network operations strategies, ensuring standard operating procedures, regular infrastructure lifecycles, and software updates are meticulously executed.
Technical Skills & Experience Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of dedicated, hands-on experience within a Service Provider environment, large Enterprise Data Center, or Telecom Managed Services infrastructure.
- Core Routing Protocols: Expert mastery over dynamic routing protocols including BGP (MP-BGP), OSPF, IS-IS, alongside MPLS fundamentals (LDP, RSVP-TE), and modern Segment Routing.
- Advanced Architecture: In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN deployment architectures, WLAN enterprise controllers, and optimization toolsets.
- Automation Suite: Demonstrated competency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Perl) and network automation tools aimed at infrastructure-as-code deployments.
- Vendor Portfolio: Advanced configuration familiarity with industry-standard network platforms (Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Nokia, or Huawei service-provider routing portfolios).
Critical Onboarding Prerequisites
- Location: Must be ready to join at the Gurgaon location and follow standard office/hybrid work arrangements.
