IOT Java Sr Developer

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum 5-8 Yrs of experience in the field of Application Development (Java) is required, Microservices. with Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer science background to play a key role in the Bosch Home comfort Software projects. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java, sprint boot , Microservices and AWS cloud.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring technologies, Microservices, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture while ensuring code quality, security, and best practices.

Collaborate in Agile teams, perform code reviews, mentor developers, and drive end-to-end delivery including design, deployment, and support.

Expected skill set:

o Strong experience in Java technologies with 5-8 years of industry exposure, including expertise in Spring Framework such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, along with RESTful Web Services, Microservices architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture.

o Hands-on experience in Java application development, code reviews, CI/CD build processes, and deployment pipelines.

o Excellent knowledge of OOPS concepts, design patterns, and data structures with the ability to apply them in real-world enterprise applications.

o Experience in architecture design, system migration, security implementation, and solution design for scalable and reliable systems.

o Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based application development, with adherence to coding standards and best practices.

o Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including use of UML, sequence diagrams, and technical documentation.

o Experience using code repositories and version control systems such as GitHub.

o Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology, ceremonies, and development practices.

o Ability to guide, mentor, review, and independently drive development activities and technical decisions.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.

o Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

o Experience working with globally distributed teams.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

o Strong team player with good collaboration, interpersonal skills, and team spirit.

Added advantage:

o Knowledge of DEVOPS, CICD tools like Jenkins, Understand CI/CD and deployment on AWS. Knowledge of containers, dockers & AWS software configuration & deployments.

o Understand automated deployment tools.

Good to Have skills:

o Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
