IOT (Java + AWS) Tech Lead

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

7-9 years of experience in Java and 2-3+ years in AWS with strong expertise in AWS services (VPC, IoT Core, EC2, Serverless, Databases), cloud and hybrid architecture, migration and security, DevOps/CI-CD (Jenkins), containers and Docker, OOPS, design patterns, code quality, and independent technical leadership with Engineering degree in Electronics/Computer science background to play a key role in the Bosch Home comfort Software projects.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

Responsible for requirement analysis, solution design, and Java + AWS cloud architecture, including traditional to cloud and data cloud migration for IoT solutions. Lead global teams in delivery, define AWS architecture, pricing/estimation, DevOps and CI/CD practices, operations and maintenance planning, vendor coordination, code reviews, POCs, and troubleshooting while driving Agile best practices.

Expected skill set:

o 7-9 years of experience in Java technologies and 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS development and deployment.

o Strong expertise in AWS services such as VPC, IoT Core, EC2, Serverless, Databases, and cloud operations, including cloud/hybrid architecture, migration, security, and troubleshooting.

o Experience in Java application development with solid knowledge of OOPS, design patterns, data structures, code reviews, and build processes.

o Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containers (Docker), and AWS-based deployment architecture.

o Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and ability to drive best development practices.

o Capability to lead requirement analysis, solution design, cloud migration, and AWS architecture for Java + Cloud solutions.

o Experience in IoT solution delivery, working with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

o Ability to guide teams, handle multiple projects, build POCs, provide estimates, and support troubleshooting.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative team mindse

Added advantage:

o AWS Solution Architect Professional certification is preferred

o Understand automated deployment tools, CloudFormation/Terraform, Ansible, etc;.

Good to Have skills:

o Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
