Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
IoT Business Analyst with experience in IoT or Industrial Automation domains. This role bridges business needs with technical solutions, focusing on requirement analysis, solution design, stakeholder collaboration, and presales activities within IoT and Industry 4.0 ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead requirement gathering workshops with stakeholders to identify pain points and define project scope across Smart Factory, Logistics, and Automation initiatives
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions for IoT/IIoT systems
Documentation Excellence
- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and solution design documents
- Ensure clarity, completeness, and traceability of requirements across project lifecycle
Presales & Consulting Support
- Support the sales team by developing technical proposals and solution presentations
- Conduct product demonstrations and client walkthroughs
- Build ROI frameworks and value propositions for prospective clients
Prototyping & Visualization
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity UI mockups using Figma
- Visualize dashboards, workflows, and user journeys for IoT applications
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, QA, and Customer Support
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout project execution
Operational & Deployment Support
- Handle dispatch and logistics documentation to support smooth solution deployment
- Coordinate with field teams and clients during implementation phases
Continuous Innovation
- Stay updated with emerging trends in AI/ML, Industry 4.0, and IoT ecosystems
- Recommend enhancements and innovative solutions to improve product offering
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IoT or Industrial Automation domain
- Strong understanding of IoT/IIoT architectures and data flows
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, RS232, MQTT
- Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, and documentation
- Familiarity with REST APIs and system integration concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma
- Understanding of frontend/backend interactions and dashboarding tools
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
- Awareness of data security, authentication, and compliance practices
- Experience in real-time or data-intensive systems
