Position: Software Engineer (macOS)

Experience: 2-4 Years

Location: Bangalore (or as applicable)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in macOS/iOS application development. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing, and enhancing native macOS applications while ensuring high performance, reliability, and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain native macOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Optimize application performance, stability, and user experience.
• Follow coding standards and software engineering best practices.
  
  

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in macOS/iOS application development.
• Strong programming skills in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Good understanding of Cocoa, Cocoa UI, and SwiftUI frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing multi-process-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Inter-Process Communication (IPC) technologies, such as:
• XPC
• Distributed Notifications
• Mach Ports
• Sockets
• Pipes
• Understanding of background services in macOS.
• Experience using Xcode Instruments for performance analysis and memory optimization, including:
• Memory Leaks
• Allocations
• Zombies
• Performance Profiling
