About The Role
We are actively seeking an iOS developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team at Gizmeon. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing applications for iOS devices, including mobile phones and tablets. Your primary focus will be on creating seamless, high-performance applications that provide excellent user experiences and integrate smoothly with back-end services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to deliver innovative solutions that meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile development, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Objective-C and Swift is essential, along with a solid understanding of third-party libraries, APIs, and Cocoa Touch. Candidates should have experience working with various iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Graphics, as well as familiarity with development tools like Xcode and Git. Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning is required. Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend integration, UI/UX standards, and Apple's design principles is crucial. Additional skills include understanding low-level C-based libraries, performance and memory optimization, cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and code versioning tools. Experience with continuous integration and knowledge of iPhone/iPad application development will be considered advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to develop and understand algorithms are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, analyze, and test systems for iOS applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Introduce and present the use and nuances of newly designed products to clients, ensuring clarity and effective communication.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features according to project requirements.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues to maintain high-quality application standards.
- Handle software updates, patches, and bug fixes to keep applications current and secure.
- Develop applications for time-sensitive projects while considering business and system requirements.
- Maintain organized project files, drafts, codes, and scripts to facilitate collaboration and future updates.
- Continuously learn about new programming languages, operating system updates, and industry best practices to enhance development skills.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation to streamline development processes.
