Job Description
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Application Developer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Build and support custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine and Studio.
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow Portals, including UI customization and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, workflows, and Flow Designer solutions.
- Work extensively with ServiceNow Workspaces, UI Builder, and Service Portal components.
- Implement and manage integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party systems.
- Ensure best practices in code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and solution architecture.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams.
- Provide production support, enhancements, and documentation for deployed applications.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow platform upgrades, new features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Application Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with :
- ServiceNow Portal Development
- App Engine, Studio, and Scripting
- Workflows, Flow Designer
- UI Builder and Workspaces
- Integration Hub
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting best practices.
- Solid understanding of the ServiceNow application development lifecycle.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good To Have
- Exposure to Now Assist or Agentic AI capabilities within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS.
- Experience in performance tuning and platform optimization.
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM modules.
