Position Summary
Join Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited as an IOC Senior Analyst and help support the technology operations that enable Deloitte teams to serve clients effectively. This role sits within the Infrastructure Operations Center and focuses on monitoring, incident response, infrastructure support, and coordination across enterprise platforms in a 24x7x365 environment. The position is suited for professionals with experience in infrastructure operations, server and network support, and production incident management.
Work you'll do
As an IOC Senior Analyst on the Infrastructure Operations Center team, you will be responsible for:
- Monitor server, network, and infrastructure performance using System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and SolarWinds.
- Provide Level 2 support for server and network incidents, including analysis, prioritization, and resolution of high-priority issues.
- Support virtualization and physical server operations, including Hyper-V, VMware, patching activities, and health monitoring of the server estate.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineering teams, vendors, and major incident management teams to restore services and support infrastructure changes.
- Perform scheduled maintenance, operating system troubleshooting, patch baseline activities, and escalation through the on-call process when required.
The team
Infrastructure Operations Center (IOC) is the nerve center for the IT Infrastructure production support for the UK Member Firm. IOC UK (USI) Provides 24*7*365 production monitoring support for the UK ITS infrastructure including servers, network devices and applications.
It is a team of support engineers specializing in a wide range of technologies, not limiting to Windows Technologies, Server and Storage platforms, Veritas NetBackup and Connected Backup platforms, Event Management (SCOM and Solarwinds), Service Management (Incident, Change, Problem and Service Requests). It works to ensure seamless execution across Deloitte's technologies and applications, with minimal production impact to its stakeholders and customers.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 24x365 (5:30am to 2:30pm, 1:00pm to 10:00pm & 9:00pm to 6:00am)
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), IT Operations Center, or comparable technical support role in mid- to enterprise-size environments.
- Experience using Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and SolarWinds to monitor server and network performance.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving server, operating system, and network incidents in enterprise environments.
- Experience using ServiceNow or a comparable ticketing platform to log, prioritize, and track incidents, including Priority 1 (P1) and Priority 2 (P2) incidents.
- Experience supporting Hyper-V and VMware platforms, including patching, checkpoint management, and virtual machine administration.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation, CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certifications.
- Ability to work 24x7x365 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Hyper-V certification.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification.
- Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) certification.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environments.
- Experience using storage and backup tools such as NetApp ONTAP System Manager, OnCommand Unified Manager, Connected Backup, or Veritas NetBackup.
