Inward RM QA/QC Tester

Hyper Stealth Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Inward RM QA/QC Tester to ensure the quality and compliance of incoming raw materials used in advanced coating systems, including Radar Absorbing Materials (RAM) and thermal signature management coatings. The role involves testing, validation, and documentation to support high-performance defense-grade materials.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Inward Raw Material (RM) Inspection

·      Inspect and validate incoming raw materials as per specifications

·      Review batch certificates (COA/COC) and technical datasheets

·      Perform sampling and acceptance/rejection decisions

2.    Coating Performance Testing

·      Conduct tests including:

·      Adhesion testing (cross-hatch / pull-off – ASTM D4541)

·      Impact resistance & flexibility testing

·      Salt spray / corrosion resistance testing

·      Curing and durability validation

3.    Coating Quality Inspection

·      Perform:

·      Dry Film Thickness (DFT) & Wet Film Thickness (WFT) measurements

·      Viscosity and density checks

·      Gloss and surface finish evaluation

4.    Surface Preparation Validation

·      Verify substrate conditions:

·      Surface profile

·      Cleanliness

·      Salt contamination

·      Ensure proper surface preparation before coating application

5.    Thermal & Functional Testing

·      Evaluate:

·      Heat resistance

·      Emissivity and IR properties

·      Thermal stability of coatings

·      Perform basic EM/RF validation for RAM (reflection/absorption – support level)

6.    Standards & Compliance

·      Conduct all testing as per:

·      ASTM standards

·      ISO standards

·      MIL standards (preferred)

·      Ensure compliance with internal QA/QC procedures

·      Orange peel

·      Blistering

·      Cracking / delamination

·      Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

·      Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)

·      Implement CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions)

·      Test reports

·      Inspection logs

·      Calibration records

·      QC documentation

·      Ensure full batch traceability

·      Production team (process control)

·      Procurement (material issues)

·      R&D (validation support only)

·      Support process optimization and curing parameter improvements

●       Bachelors/ M.Sc. in Science, or related field

●       1–3 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in coatings, materials testing, or defense-related industries

●       Basic understanding of electromagnetic materials and thermal coatings

●       Knowledge of material characterization techniques

●       Familiarity with ASTM / ISO testing standards

●       Strong analytical and documentation skills

●       Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset

●       Knowledge of coating application and failure analysis

●       Problem-solving and root cause analysis

●       Data interpretation and reporting

●       Cross-functional coordination

●       Process discipline and compliance adherence

●       Plant-based role involving laboratory testing and shop-floor interaction

●       May require handling of chemicals, coatings, and testing equipment
