Location: Chennai, India

Experience: 2-3 years in Wealth Management or as a Relationship Manager, with proven exposure to engaging, advising and managing HNI clients.

Reporting to: Partner

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Investor Relations Manager to be the face of our Investment Platform. Your primary mission is to expand our investor network while cultivating a vibrant, engaged community of backers for the next generation of Indian startups. While you will oversee investor engagements, you will also support the team with other activities as required.

The Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate should be articulate and persuasive with a track record of selling high-ticket products/services. You need not be a Finance expert, but should be comfortable discussing ROIs, valuations, and risks across ventures and wealth opportunities. Local connections in Chennai are a plus, but not mandatory.

Primary Focus: Growth & Interaction (80% of Role)

1. Investor Engagements

  • Network Expansion: Proactively identify and pitch IN44 Capital's vision and mission to potential investors.
  • Lead Generation: Leverage LinkedIn, local business networks, and other ecosystem channels to build a robust pipeline of prospective investors.
  • Onboarding Presentations: Conduct 1-on-1 Introduction to Private/AngelInvesting sessions for new leads, explaining our Platform's value proposition and track record.

2. Community Management & Engagement

  • Active Relationship Management: Maintain a high-touch relationship with investors, ensuring you understand their specific areas of interest (e.g., SaaS, DeepTech).
  • Query Resolution: Act as the rapid-response lead for all investor questions, ranging from How do I use the dashboard to When is the next pitch day

3. Deal Marketing

  • The Pitch Lead: Champion new investment opportunities to the community.
  • Digital Presence: Manage the Platform's internal communication channels to maintain energy and keep discussions professional.

Secondary Focus: Support & Operations (20% of Role)

  • Deal Support: Facilitate signature and fund transfer processes once an investor commits to an investment.
  • Reporting: Ensure that quarterly startup updates reach the investors inboxes, stepping in to nudge founders for data when necessary.
  • Compliance Basics: Basic collection of documents for deal-specific paperwork as required by our legal/finance team.
