We are seeking a proactive Deal Flow / Startup Sourcing Associate to support our investment activities by identifying, evaluating, and engaging high-potential startups. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, outreach, and relationship management, requiring strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and a sales-oriented mindset. The Associate will be responsible for tailoring outreach based on startup-specific value propositions, managing ongoing interactions with founders, and maintaining accurate deal flow and pipeline data across internal platforms. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working with early-stage companies and contributing directly to the quality and velocity of investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Source startups that align closely with our defined investment criteria
Conduct initial screening and evaluation of startups using established assessment frameworks
Customize outreach and sales messaging based on the specific benefits and value propositions relevant to each startup
Manage stakeholder communication and coordinate effectively with internal teams
Oversee deal flow tracking and database management, including monitoring startup status, stages, engagement progress, pipeline activity, and platform updates
Qualifications
Non negotiables:
Clear and confident verbal communication
Strong written communication, especially email follow ups
At least 2 years of experience in sales/business development
Nice to Have:
Exposure to investor communities/agencies, accelerators, or startup programs or other similar entitities.
Understanding of startup stages and fundraising terms
