Position Title: Investment Promotion & Facilitation Expert

Role Summary
A seasoned investment promotion and facilitation professional with over 13 years of experience in designing, managing, and delivering high-impact investment attraction strategies for governments, economic development agencies, and large public-sector programs. Adept at developing sector strategies, enabling policy reforms, conducting investor outreach, and providing end-to-end facilitation support to domestic and global investors. Proven expertise in stakeholder management, project structuring, incentive design, and coordination across multiple government departments to enhance ease of doing business and accelerate investment inflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investment Promotion & Outreach
- Develop and implement targeted investment promotion strategies across priority sectors.
- Lead domestic and international investor outreach programs, roadshows, and diplomatic engagements.
- Build and manage relationships with global corporations, industry associations, financial institutions, and trade bodies.
- Create compelling investment marketing collateral, sector profiles, and value-proposition pitches.
2. Investment Facilitation & Aftercare
- Provide end-to-end facilitation support to investors—from lead generation to project grounding.
- Coordinate with state/central government departments to resolve investor issues and expedite approvals.
- Implement aftercare programs to support expansion and retention of existing investors.
- Track and monitor investment pipelines using CRM/ MIS tools.
3. Policy Advisory & Regulatory Enablement
- Conduct policy analysis and prepare recommendations for improving the investment ecosystem.
- Support development of sectoral policies, incentive frameworks, and regulatory reforms.
- Benchmark global best practices for competitiveness and ease of doing business improvements.
4. Research, Analytics & Strategy Development
- Undertake economic, financial, and sectoral research to identify investment trends and opportunities.
- Prepare feasibility studies, sector diagnostic reports, and strategic investment plans.
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, FDI trends, and market forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
5. Stakeholder & Government Engagement
- Liaise with senior government officials, industry leaders, and multilateral institutions.
- Anchor inter-departmental coordination to ensure timely project facilitation.
- Represent the organization in high-level meetings, working groups, and policy committees.
6. Program Management & Delivery
- Lead large-scale consulting or government programs focused on investment promotion.
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams, workplans, budgets, and deliverables.
- Ensure quality assurance, documentation, compliance, and reporting.
