Job Summary:
The Investment Promotion Specialist will play a crucial role in attracting, facilitating, and retaining investments in the region/sector. The specialist will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities, engaging with potential investors, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful investment outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in investment promotion activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate prospective investment opportunities aligned with regional/sectoral development goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential investors, industry bodies, and government agencies.
- Assist in preparing investment proposals, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate investment processes, including regulatory approvals and compliance.
- Monitor investment trends, policies, and economic indicators to provide strategic insights.
- Support the preparation of reports and maintain a database of investment leads and outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to amplify investment promotion efforts.
- Organize and participate in investment promotion events, trade shows, and business forums.
- Provide advisory support to investors on incentives, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, Technology along with Master's degree is relevant fields or Management
- 4 to 5 years of experience in investment promotion, economic development, business development, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of investment climates, facilitation processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic, semiconductor, etc. sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and prepare strategic reports.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM tools and investment databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with government agencies, investment promotion boards, or development organizations.
- Exposure to international investment protocols and cross-border investment facilitation.
