Responsibilities
Under general direction, independently execute routine and intermediate transactions and resolve problems with recordkeeping, accounting, trade platform and/or pricing system.
- Develop towards being a subject matter expert.
- Build new investments, follow compliance rules, and ensure readiness for trading, reconciliation, settlement, client reporting, and/or pricing process.
- Identify and resolve issues associated with client data, trade breaks, reconciliation breaks, and/or compliance breaches.
- Prepare reports and maintain controls in alignment with internal policies and clients needs. Recommend, research, test and/or document system changes.
- Interface with internal and external personnel including senior operations staff administration, mutual fund companies, IT, banks, broker dealers, trust companies, custodians, subadvisors, and/or outside vendors to obtain information and resolve problems.
- Enhance understanding of Principal Life Insurance Company's proprietary and nonproprietary products, team procedures, and clients needs through self-initiated research, participation in available training programs and involvement in ongoing investment activities.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Qualifications
- B.com,M.com,MBA is preffered .
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, basic math, organizational, reading comprehension, interpretation, negotiation, innovation, analytical and problem solving.
- Requires in-depth knowledge of plan and contract documents, manuals, procedures and company products and services.
- Must possess an in-depth understanding of accounting and recordkeeping systems and PC applications.
- Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Ability to work/communicate effectively with business partners/management.
