Key Responsibilities
- Code and validate rules, monitor and review their status, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) in the Aladdin system.
- Translate investment restrictions and limits into plain English to facilitate automated rule coding.
- Understanding of Investment & Regulatory Compliance
- Hands on experience with rule coding and testing
- Understanding of mandates, ability to translate the compliance rules to plain English
- Prior experience in implementing compliance rules, transitioning of rules from one platform to another
- Prior Project Management/ BA experience preferred
- Understanding of SQL and ability to write queries using SQL
- Prior experience of rule coding on Bloomberg and Aladdin
- Ability to work in the fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
- Prior experience in stakeholder management and liaising with vendors
- Understanding of pre trade and post trade compliance, implications, and various categories of rule types, pre trade and post trade monitoring, generation of reports
- Review and reconcile the pre and post trade rules setup in the system and Governing Document
Preferred skills
- Compliance Rule Coding
- Understanding of Aladdin
- Familiarity with one or more of the following Data and Automation tools (i.e. PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint)
- Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages (i.e. SQL, Python, VBA).
- Vendor and stakeholder management
