Investment Banking, Vice President (Renewable Energy)

• Permanent headcount, based in Singapore
• International Bank
• Sector focus: Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, New Energies (battery, EV, waste, geothermal etc) 

Responsibilities would include:

• Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and deal captain on transactions
• Oversee execution of deals, including material preparation, buyer/investor outreach, and transaction diligence
• Develop financial projection models and valuation analyses, presentation materials for use in client meetings, information memorandums, teasers, pitch books, buyer/investor lists
• Review materials, information, and correspondence prepared by junior bankers on engagement teams
• Conduct comprehensive research into company/industry/geographic market for deals
• Maintain up to date knowledge on clients and targets, including preparing sector/ country landscape updates, maintaining trading/ transaction comparables
• Coordinate efforts with other product/ deal team members across the bank, internal and external stakeholders
• Regional coverage: Southeast Asia  

 
Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in Investment banking / IBD/ Corporate Finance / M&A. Must have relevant sector knowledge in either Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Power, Utilities, New Energies
• Ability to perform under pressure and thrive in a high intensity environment
• Strong work ethics and excellent learning / work attitude, independent and can perform without much supervision 
• Detail oriented with good financial analysis skills
• Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
• Analytical and numerate with basic accounting and finance knowledge
• Work authorisation support may be considered, subject to applicable eligibility and regulatory requirements.
