Job Description

Investment Operations Job Descriptions -

1. Public Markets Investment Operations Analyst — Junior

Experience: Approximately 2–4 years

This position is open for both Pune & Bangalore location

Work mode - WFO (5 Days working from office)

Shifts - Night shifts (9:30 PM to 6:45 AM)

Role purpose -

Execute time-critical public-markets processing and data-control activities accurately,

following approved procedures and escalating exceptions promptly.

Key responsibilities

Set up and maintain counterparties, SSIs, portfolios, accounts and approved

static data.

Capture, enrich, amend and cancel trades; support matching, confirmation,

settlement and daily status monitoring.

Process routine corporate actions, margin/collateral activities, pricing feeds,

reconciliations and P&L data.

Maintain confirmations, settlement records, control checklists and audit

evidence.

Identify missing data, unmatched trades, settlement breaks, pricing exceptions or

recurring processing errors and escalate within defined thresholds.

Domain knowledge and systems

Familiarity with listed and OTC products such as equities, fixed income, FX,

money-market instruments, derivatives and securities lending.

Exposure to Murex, SCD/SimCorp, Bloomberg, Quantum/Cash Master,

CTM/GTSS or comparable trade-processing and reconciliation platforms.

Skills

Strong accuracy, deadline discipline, documentation and basic break

investigation.

Working Excel/data-analysis capability and clear written escalation.
