We are seeking an experienced Equity Capital Markets (ECM) professional to drive the execution of capital market transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, rights issues, and other equity-linked products. The role involves working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, advisors, and regulators to ensure seamless transaction execution, regulatory compliance, and successful deal completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Manage ECM transactions once the transaction is mandated till closing, ensuring timely and smooth execution.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance on ECM strategies and transaction structures.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ICDR and companies Act compliances and listing rules.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date on market trends, conditions, and competitor activity to inform ECM strategies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with ECM origination, syndicate, and trading teams to deliver successful transactions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with ECM transactions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years in ECM execution, Merchant Banking / Investment banking,
- Education: CA / MBA Finance
- Skills: Strong knowledge of ECM products, transaction structures, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
