Role Summary:
Responsible to handle capital raising, debt restructuring, fundraising initiatives, and investor management. The role requires strong expertise in financial structuring, regulatory compliance, and managing end-to-end transaction execution in line with Securities and Exchange Board of India guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute capital raising activities through equity, debt, and hybrid instruments
- Manage fundraising mandates, including private equity, venture capital, and institutional funding
- Structure and implement debt restructuring plans for stressed or growth-stage businesses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders
- Drive investor management, including communication, reporting, and engagement strategies
- Prepare financial models, valuation reports, pitch decks, and information memorandums
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements as per SEBI norms
- Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies for transaction closure
- Conduct market research and strategic analysis to support client decisions
- Support M&A transactions, due diligence, and deal negotiations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: MBA (Finance) / CA
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in merchant banking / investment banking / corporate finance.
- Experience in fundraising and investor relations.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, debt instruments, and structured finance
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring
- Knowledge of debt restructuring frameworks and turnaround strategies
- Excellent investor handling and stakeholder management skills
- Sound knowledge of SEBI regulations and compliance requirements
- High level of analytical thinking and negotiation ability
- Strong network with investors, NBFCs, and financial institutions .
