About the Role

As an Associate, Investment Banking, you will assess founders, support fundraising and strategic transaction mandates for high-growth startups and scale-ups. You will work closely with founders, investors, and senior leadership teams across multiple sectors and geographies.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career at the intersection of venture capital, private equity, strategic advisory, and cross-border business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess founders for their selection in the DGEMS cohort
  • Support fundraising mandates across Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, Series B, and growth-stage transactions.
  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation exercises, and market research.
  • Prepare investor materials including pitch decks, financial models, information memorandums, and investment teasers.
  • Assist in investor identification, outreach, and engagement processes.
  • Participate in founder meetings, investor discussions, and transaction execution.
  • Conduct industry, competitor, and market-entry research across global markets.
  • Support due diligence and transaction documentation processes.
  • Maintain transaction databases, investor pipelines, and reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business, or related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Consulting, or Transaction Advisory.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work directly with founders and senior stakeholders.
