ABOUT CAPITAL CONNECT ADVISORS

Capital Connect Advisors (CCA) is one of the most active tech-focused boutique investment banks operating in SE Asia, India and Australia. We provide private placement, M&A, and strategic advice to leading growth-stage technology, AI, and digital infrastructure companies.

CCA is growing and is looking to hire an Associate to support the execution of our transactions.

This Delhi, India-based role covers SE Asia and India. It is for exceptionally motivated and smart individuals to build a career in technology investment banking in two of the world's largest and fastest-growing technology markets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate, you will be a key member of the Corporate Finance team and involved in projects across the APAC region that may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Support the VPs and Partners on deal execution for our private placement, M&A, and/or strategic financial advisory mandates.
  2. Build Financial Models including integrated three-statement model, valuation, and cash flow modeling
  3. Prepare key documentation including Pitch Decks, Information Memorandums, Management Presentations, etc.
  4. Manage due diligence workflows, including data-room organisation, coordination with service providers, and preparation of clients for investor Q&A.
  5. Drive project timelines, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
  6. Provide background work for research and industry analysis with a focus on technology and the internet in SE Asia and India.
  7. Contribute to internal process improvements, CRM enhancement, and tech-led project management tools to scale execution efficiency.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  1. Mandatory requirement of 3-6 years full-time experience working in a boutique or mid-market investment bank with a prior deal execution track record.
  2. Good academic credentials from top institutions - undergraduate or masters program.
  3. Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge.
  4. Methodical, meticulous, and possess strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication, business writing, and research skills.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  7. Ability to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team.
  8. Committed to excellence on assigned deliverables with high professional and ethical standards.
  9. Familiarity with research databases and financial tools is a plus (e.g., Capital IQ, Tracxn, CB Insights, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, etc.).
  10. Preference for candidates with demonstrated exposure to the startup ecosystem.
