We are looking for an enthusiastic professional for our Investment Banking Team in India who is keen on building a meaningful career in finance.
JOB TITLE: Investment Banking Team Analyst
LOCATION:Mumbai, India
ANNUAL CTC:Competitive Salary and Performance-based Bonus
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support transaction analysis and valuation.
Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive industry and market research to identify investment trends, potential opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
Transaction Support: Assist in executing live transactions by preparing collaterals, including information memorandums, teasers, pitch decks, and client presentations.
Due Diligence: Coordinate and perform due diligence, including the review of financial statements, industry reports, and other relevant information.
Client and Investor Interactions: Participate in client and investor meetings and calls, providing analytical support and addressing queries.
Documentation: Prepare and regularly update all the transaction-related documents and databases
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior bankers, associates, and other team members to deliver high-quality financial advisory services.
Other ad-hoc tasks as needed
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Education: A bachelors degree in Engineering from a Top-Tier College or CA (Maximum of2 Attempts). Advanced degrees (MBA from Top-Tier Colleges, CFA) are strongly preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields are a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and financial statement analysis. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
Analytical Skills: Advanced problem-solving, strong analytical, and quantitative skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
Work Ethic: Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the teams success.
