Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed financial models, valuation analyses (e.g., DCF, comparable transactions, precedent deals), and scenario assessments to support M&A, IPO, and capital raising transactions
- Conduct in-depth industry, company, and market research, synthesizing data from multiple sources
- Monitor developments and key news relevant to Consumer, Retail and E-Commerce sectors
- Prepare pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for internal stakeholders
- Assist in due diligence, gathering and verifying critical data and documentation for transactions
- Prepare and present regular status reports, analyses, and updates to senior management
- Candidate will work very closely with senior management on high impact assignments
Required Qualifications
- CA/MBA from Top-Tier College with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking role
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modelling), PowerPoint, and basic financial databases/platforms
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task on tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting analysis and recommendations
Preferred Experience
- Prior internship or experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, audit, or private equity
- Familiarity with valuation methodologies and transaction structuring
