Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst to join our research and analytics division. This role involves supporting live transactions, deal execution, and strategic advisory initiatives. It is well suited for individuals looking to build a long-term career in investment banking, equity research, or financial analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth industry, company, and market research to support strategic initiatives and deal execution.
- Support the creation of pitchbooks, teasers, Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), and client presentations.
- Develop and maintain financial models, including forecasting, scenario planning, and sensitivities.
- Perform valuation analyses including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and sector-specific frameworks.
- Execute target screening, benchmarking, and market mapping across multiple industries.
- Support due diligence through data-driven insights, market verification, and competitive analysis.
- Produce recurring sector insights, transaction updates, and analytical reports.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, private equity, or related analytical functions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance theory, and valuation methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, VBA, or Python is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and research skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
