Role Summary

The Investment Associate will be part of the Investments team, supporting the identification and acquisition of hospitality assets, as well as corporate strategy and capital structure initiatives on the existing portfolio. The role involves market research, feasibility studies, cash flow analysis, IM preparation, and due diligence for opportunities under evaluation, along with regular coordination with consultants, investment advisors, investment bankers, brokers, lawyers, bankers, operators, lenders, and investors.

The role requires regular travel to cities across India.

Responsibilities

·   Conduct micro and macro market analysis to underwrite the future performance of target assets

·   Prepare corporate notes for internal review and decision-making

·   Build financial models, including detailed unit- and corporate-level P&Ls, financial ratios, and impact on consolidated financials

·   Evaluate new investment opportunities

·   Support M&A transactions, including underwriting, due diligence, and deal closure/documentation

·   Support the operations team on ongoing asset reviews, periodic budgeting, and quarterly presentations

·   Support corporate strategy and capital structure workstreams on the existing portfolio (refinancing, capital allocation, portfolio optimization)

·   Assist with investor relations, including preparation of investor materials, quarterly updates, and responses to investor queries

·   Coordinate with operators, lenders, and investors on ongoing portfolio and financing matters

Required Skills and Qualifications

·   Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

·   2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, real estate investing, and/or financial services; prior experience within a hotel ownership or operating organization is a plus

·   Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel

·    Experience in capital/investment modeling

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable representing the company in front of lenders and investors

·   Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently to deadlines

·   Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI) preferred
