About the Role
We are looking for an Investment Analyst (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on investment research, financial analysis, portfolio management, valuation, capital markets, and strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to company analysis, investment recommendations, financial modeling, market research, portfolio strategies, risk assessment, and economic analysis, helping improve how AI models understand and solve real-world investment challenges.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for investment intelligence, financial research, portfolio analytics, market forecasting, and AI-powered financial decision support platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated investment research and financial analysis outputs
- Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
- Assess AI outputs for financial accuracy, investment logic, valuation quality, risk assessment, and market relevance
- Identify errors in financial models, valuation assumptions, market analysis, portfolio recommendations, or investment conclusions and provide structured feedback
- Support workflows involving equity research, portfolio analysis, financial modeling, company valuation, market research, and economic assessment
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on investment intelligence and financial decision-making
Requirements
- Background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields
- Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance, capital markets, investment analysis, and valuation methodologies
- Experience in investment research, portfolio management, financial consulting, wealth management, asset management, or related functions is preferred
- Familiarity with valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and ratio analysis
- Proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, financial research, and quantitative analysis
- Knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments, and macroeconomic factors
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, CA, CPA, or progress toward these qualifications are a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
