Role Description

The Investment Analyst role at Crystal Ventures is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, or remotely out of India for exceptional talents. The Investment Analyst will support deal sourcing and evaluation by conducting market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence on high-growth tech startups. Daily responsibilities include building and maintaining financial models, preparing investment memos and presentations, and assisting in portfolio monitoring and reporting. The role also involves tracking industry trends, meeting with founders and stakeholders, and contributing insights to investment committee discussions. The analyst will collaborate with advisory and investment team members to help structure transactions and support clients through fundraising and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and investments knowledge, including exposure to venture capital or private equity environments.
• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling to evaluate startup performance and potential.
• Experience or interest in portfolio management, including tracking key metrics and supporting performance reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are an advantage.
• Solid understanding of technology markets and startup ecosystems, preferably with international exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working on-site in Dubai and collaborating in a cross-cultural, team-oriented setting.
