Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Investment & Exit Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating with portfolio companies for investment and exit-related matters.
  • Support in reviewing term sheets, Investment Committee (IC) minutes, and deal documentation.
  • Liaise with legal teams and portfolio companies for deal negotiations and documentation finalization.
  • Track and assist in fulfilling Conditions Precedent (CP) for fund transfers and due diligence.

2. Investor Relations Support

  • Act as a coordination point for the Investor Relations team for investor queries.
  • Gather and provide necessary financial and statutory data as required.

3. Regulatory & Compliance Support

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Income Tax, SEBI-AIF, RBI, FEMA, Companies Act (including secretarial matters), and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Support the compliance and legal teams in meeting regulatory deadlines.

4. Legal & Financial Coordination

  • Help review legal and statutory documents from a financial and tax perspective in coordination with the legal team.
  • Assist in documentation management and follow-ups for approvals.

5. Audit & Reporting Assistance

  • Coordinate PPM audits by collating necessary information and liaising with auditors.
  • Support in post-investment monitoring of investee companies, including tracking MIS and audited financials.
  • Assist in preparing and compiling reports for SEBI and Trustees.

Ideal candidate:

Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of experience

Transaction advisory experience in Top 6 CA firms would be an added advantage

Good at relationship management with strong interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with other teams in an efficient manner

Thorough understanding of Income Tax, FEMA, RBI norms in relation to investment by Fund into companies along with good negotiating techniques.
