Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

  • Design and develop inverter and UPS circuits (single-phase & three-phase).
  • Select appropriate components (MOSFETs, IGBTs, transformers, batteries, PCBs).
  • Prepare circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, and cost.

Assembly & Production Support

  • Supervise inverter and UPS assembly processes.
  • Guide technicians on correct assembly, wiring, and safety practices.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Support pilot production and new product introduction.

Testing & Quality Control

  • Perform functional testing, load testing, and performance validation.
  • Identify and rectify design or assembly-related issues.
  • Support QC checks and compliance with internal standards.

Troubleshooting & Service Support

  • Diagnose and repair faults in inverters and UPS systems.
  • Analyze failures related to power stages, control circuits, and batteries.
  • Provide technical support to service teams and customers when required.
  • Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action reports.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and test reports.
  • Coordinate with procurement for component selection and sourcing.
  • Work closely with R&D, production, and service teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Electronics Engineering.
  • 26 years of relevant experience in inverter and UPS design and servicing.
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, SMPS, and battery management systems.
  • Experience with PCB testing, fault finding, and circuit-level repairs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with solar inverters and hybrid UPS systems.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers, PWM control, and protection circuits.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
