Inventory Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Managment based in Noida. The Inventory Manager will oversee daily operations to maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock control processes, and optimize inventory levels to meet business needs. The role includes monitoring incoming and outgoing inventory, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring timely stock replenishment while minimizing excess inventory. Additionally, the Inventory Manager will analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improved efficiency.

• Inventory & Warehouse Management Responsibilities
• 1. Stock Control (Inventory Control)

Monitor available stock and track stock transfers in Zoho Inventory.

Maintain real-time visibility of incoming and outgoing materials.

Ensure accurate stock updates in the system after every transaction.

Coordinate stock transfer entries from warehouse to Zoho software.

2. Demand Handling (Online & Offline Orders) Online Orders:

Respond to customers or internal emails regarding product availability.

Process orders as per requirements.

Ensure timely dispatch coordination with the warehouse team. Offline Orders:

Pick and prepare products according to the invoice received.

After invoice generation, physically hand over the stock to the dispatch team.

Ensure proper documentation before dispatch.

3. Inventory Tracking & Record Management

Maintain detailed records of each item in both physical stock and software.

Match physical stock with system records regularly.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and digital inventory. Inventory Methods Used: FIFO(First in First Out) FIFO (First In First Out)FIFO(First in First Out)

Older stock is dispatched first to avoid expiry or dead stock. LIFO(Last in First Out)LIFO (Last In First Out)LIFO(Last in First Out)

Latest stock is dispatched first (used where applicable).

Maintain stock transfer system updates in Zoho.

Ensure proper stock movement recording between locations.

4. Team Management Assign daily work responsibilities to warehouse workers.

Monitor performance and ensure tasks are completed on time.

Coordinate with dispatch and inventory teams for smooth operations.

Ensure discipline and workflow efficiency in the warehouse.

5. Monthly Inventory Reporting & Handover

Prepare month-end inventory reports.

Highlight stock issues, shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies.

Provide inventory status update to reporting manager.

Maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

6. Stock Reconciliation & Audits

Reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.

Conduct: o Daily cycle counts o Weekly stock verification o Monthly physical stock audits

Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company standards.

Salary : 35K to 40K + PF
