About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Manager with strong experience in event-based inventory management. This role is ideal for someone who has handled high-value event assets, short turnaround deployments, and multi-location event operations, rather than traditional warehouse or FMCG inventory environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Inventory Planning & Control
  • Plan, track, and manage inventory for multiple ongoing events, installations, and activations
  • Ensure right inventory availability for events, demos, roadshows, and client deployments
  • Coordinate inventory movement between office, event sites, vendors, and storage locations
Asset Tracking & Accountability
  • Maintain accurate inward / outward logs for all event assets (hardware, displays, props, equipment)
  • Track asset allocation, usage, returns, damages, and losses
  • Conduct pre-event and post-event inventory checks
  • Ensure accountability of inventory assigned to event teams
Event Operations Coordination
  • Work closely with Event Operations, Production, and Project teams
  • Support logistics planning including dispatch, packing, transport, and retrieval
  • Ensure inventory readiness aligned with event timelines and schedules
Vendor & Procurement Support
  • Coordinate with vendors for rental equipment, fabrication materials, and consumables
  • Support procurement for event-specific inventory based on project requirements
  • Verify vendor invoices related to inventory and rentals
Audits, Reporting & Documentation
  • Conduct regular physical inventory audits
  • Maintain updated inventory reports and asset registers
  • Prepare usage, damage, and loss reports post events
  • Suggest improvements in inventory processes to reduce loss and delays
Compliance & Maintenance
  • Ensure safe handling, storage, and maintenance of event assets
  • Flag repair, servicing, or replacement needs proactively
  • Maintain inventory SOPs specific to event-based operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 34 years of hands-on experience in event inventory management (mandatory)
  • Experience in events, exhibitions, experiential marketing, production houses, or live events
  • Strong understanding of event logistics and asset movement
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (inventory tracking & reporting)
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • High ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
Good to Have
  • Experience handling AV equipment, LED screens, interactive tech, or event hardware
  • Familiarity with inventory or asset management tools/software
  • Exposure to on-ground event execution
