Summary
Seeking a hands-on Associate Manager / Team Lead with strong analytical capability and deep expertise in Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization. The role focuses on leading solution design, configuration, and implementation for global, multi-echelon supply chains. The ideal candidate will possess strong command over inventory planning concepts, IO policy configuration, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable improvements in service levels and working capital.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, validation, and deployment of Blue Yonder IO for multi-tier global supply chains.
- Define and tune inventory policies, safety stock strategies, service levels, and planning parameters.
- Analyze historical data, forecast variability, and replenishment patterns to determine optimal inventory targets.
- Configure and run IO simulations and diagnostics; translate outputs into actionable recommendations.
- Drive Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) initiatives aligned with sourcing constraints and demand variability.
- Collaborate with BY Demand, ESP Supply Planning, and Fulfillment teams to ensure aligned planning logic.
- Coordinate with data/integration teams to validate and maintain clean data flows from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Support UAT, hypercare, documentation, and end-user training activities.
- Mentor junior team members on IO rule setup, analysis, and configuration best practices.
Professional & Technical Experience
- 710 years of experience in supply chain planning.
- 24 years of hands-on experience in Blue Yonder IO.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning fundamentals: service levels, safety stock, lead-time buffers, demand variability.
- Practical experience in IO configuration, diagnostics, and policy tuning.
- Strong analytical skills with SQL, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Experience with related Blue Yonder modules such as Demand Planning, ESP, or Fulfillment.
- Knowledge of integration points between BY solutions and ERP/WMS systems.
Additional Information
- Experience in IO diagnostics, inventory health checks, and scenario-based policy testing.
- Exposure to Blue Yonder SaaS/cloud upgrades or implementation projects.
- Supply chain domain experience in CPG, retail, pharma, or discrete manufacturing.
