Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and manage inventory operations for our e-commerce business dealing in silver jewellery products. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, optimizing inventory turnover, managing warehouse processes, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment across online channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Planning & Control
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for all SKUs.
- Ensure accurate stock records across ERP, WMS, and website inventory systems.
- Track slow-moving, dead stock, and fast-moving SKUs.
2. Stock Reconciliation
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Manage cycle counting and physical stock verification.
3. Order Fulfillment Support
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure smooth order processing and dispatch.
- Ensure inventory availability for online orders from company website and marketplaces.
4. Vendor & Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement team for replenishment planning.
- Track vendor deliveries and GRN processes.
5. Returns & Reverse Logistics
- Monitor RTO (Return to Origin) and customer returns inventory.
- Ensure proper quality check and stock re-entry.
6. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on:
- Stock aging
- Inventory turnover
- Stock variance
- Order fulfillment rate
- Suggest strategies to reduce dead inventory and stock-outs.
7. Process Improvement
- Implement best practices in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (IMS), WMS, and ERP.
- Experience in e-commerce inventory operations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Knowledge of SKU management and product cataloging.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Experience in jewellery, fashion, or lifestyle e-commerce industry preferred.
- Familiarity with Shopify / marketplace inventory integration is a plus.
