Minus 30 is looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to manage and control inventory operations in our food manufacturing environment.

Role Overview

The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and consumables, ensuring stock accuracy, proper storage, FIFO/FEFO compliance, timely material availability and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory, stores and warehouse operations

• Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, packaging, finished goods and consumables

• Monitor minimum, maximum and reorder levels and ensure timely replenishment

• Track stock movement from inward receipt to production, storage and dispatch

• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are strictly followed

• Monitor batch numbers, expiry dates, manufacturing dates and shelf life

• Ensure proper segregation of approved, damaged, rejected and expired materials

• Verify incoming materials against PO, invoices and delivery documents

• Manage GRN, material issue and inward/outward documentation

• Conduct regular physical stock counts and stock reconciliation

• Investigate stock variances, shortages, damages and excess inventory

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Inventory MIS & Reports

• Ensure proper warehouse arrangement, labelling, stacking, hygiene and safety

• Supervise and manage Store Executives, Store Assistants and warehouse staff

• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance

• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Sales, Dispatch, Finance and Logistics

• Ensure timely availability of materials for production and dispatch

• Monitor inventory ageing, wastage, expiry and obsolete stock

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in Inventory / Stores / Warehouse Management

Experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturing / Dairy / Ice Cream / Frozen Food preferred

Strong knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking and expiry management

Strong experience in stock reconciliation and inventory control

Knowledge of ERP / Inventory Management Software

Strong Advanced Excel & MIS skills

Experience managing warehouse/inventory teams

Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills

Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and warehouse practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualification

Graduate in B.Com / BBA / Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations or related field.

A Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
