Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Tracking & Management:
Maintain real-time inventory records using inventory software.
Monitor daily stock levels across all locations (factory, warehouse, and outlets).
Reconcile physical stock with system stock periodically.
Goods Receiving & Dispatch
Verify received goods against purchase orders.
Ensure timely dispatch of materials to outlets as per requisitions.
Generate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and issue slips accurately.
Stock Audits & Reporting
Conduct weekly/monthly physical stock audits.
Prepare stock variance reports and analyze discrepancies.
Share daily/weekly inventory reports with the management.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Outlet Managers to manage stock flow.
Follow up on stock requests and provide timely updates.
Loss Prevention & Quality Control
Identify and report slow-moving, expired, or damaged stock.
Monitor wastage and pilferage trends and suggest preventive actions.
System & Process Compliance
Use ERP/Inventory management system
Follow SOPs for stock movement, documentation, and data entry.
Required Skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, stock software/ERP.
Knowledge of FMCG or food industry inventory practices.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
Education
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce/Business or related field (B.Com/BBA preferred).
Experience
13 years in inventory/storekeeping roles, preferably in food/retail sector.
