Inventory Head (Delhi)

Position: Inventory Head

Experience: 15–20+ Years

Location: Delhi

Budget: ₹1,50,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month

Industry: Open (Any industry with large-scale inventory operations)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Head to oversee and manage the complete inventory operations of the organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in MIS reporting, inventory management systems, stock accuracy, and process improvement. Excellent communication skills and strong expertise in Excel are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

  • Oversee end-to-end inventory planning, control, and management.
  • Ensure accurate stock levels across warehouses, stores, and distribution points.
  • Monitor stock movement, shrinkage, aging inventory, and discrepancies.
  • Lead periodic stock audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% accuracy.

MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on stock, consumption, wastage, and replenishment.
  • Analyze data to forecast demands and prevent stock-out or overstock situations.
  • Create dashboards and automated reports using Excel, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.

Systems & Process Management

  • Manage inventory software/tools and ensure accurate data entries.
  • Implement process improvements and SOPs for systematic inventory operations.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and operations teams.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise inventory staff, warehouse in-charges, and coordinators.
  • Conduct training on inventory systems, safety practices & reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related fields.
  • 15–20+ years of hands-on experience in inventory operations.
  • Strong expertise in Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication & analytical skills.
  • Experience in large-scale inventory handling preferred.
