We are seeking a skilled and compassionateInterventional Cardiologistto join our growing team of cardiac specialists. As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, with a primary focus on catheter-based procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and other minimally invasive interventions. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform interventional cardiac procedures, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and stent implantation.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, both inpatient and outpatient.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including cardiothoracic surgeons, general cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs and condition.
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to hospital protocols and healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in interventional cardiology through continuous medical education and training.
- Participate in on-call duties, hospital rounds, and emergency interventions as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- MBBS with MD in Internal Medicine followed by DM in Cardiology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- 16 years of hands-on experience in interventional cardiology post-DM or fellowship.
- Strong expertise in procedures such as coronary angioplasty, balloon angioplasty, stent placements, and intravascular imaging.
- Proficiency in diagnosing a broad spectrum of cardiac conditions including ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias, and structural heart diseases.
- Excellent decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure emergency situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital documentation protocols.
Preferred Attributes:
- Fellowship or certification in Interventional Cardiology from a reputed institute.
- Prior experience in a high-volume cath lab setting.
- Research publications or participation in cardiology conferences and CMEs.
