We provide 24/7 acute cardiac care, elective coronary and structural procedures, and multidisciplinary cardiac management in an on-site clinical setting.
Position
Consultant Interventional Cardiologist — Karimnagar, Telangana (On-site)
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and therapeutic percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including complex PCI and primary PCI for STEMI patients.
- Execute vascular access using radial and femoral techniques and perform intravascular imaging-guided interventions (IVUS/OCT) where indicated.
- Lead cathlab procedures, coordinate periprocedural patient management, and ensure adherence to safety and infectioncontrol protocols.
- Provide outpatient cardiology consultations, preprocedure evaluation, informed consent counselling, and postprocedure followup care.
- Supervise and mentor junior cardiology staff, cathlab nurses, and technicians; contribute to training and qualityimprovement initiatives.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, maintain procedure documentation, and support clinical governance, audits, and protocol development.
Skills & Qualifications
MustHave
- DM or DrNB in Cardiology
- Valid medical registration (State Medical Council / MCI/ NMC)
- Proven interventional experience performing coronary angiography and PCI, including primary PCI
- Handson experience with radial access techniques
- Competence in intravascular imaging (IVUS) or optical coherence tomography (OCT)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred
- Fellowship or formal training in interventional cardiology
- Experience with structural heart interventions or transcatheter procedures
- Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
