Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Internship Opportunity for a Sales & Communication Intern based in Thane. The intern will support the sales team by generating leads, conducting outreach to schools and educational institutions, and assisting in follow-ups via calls, emails, and messaging platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting Teachfly's products and solutions, scheduling and coordinating client meetings or demos, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools. The intern will also assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and reports, and will collaborate with marketing and product teams to align communication with ongoing campaigns. The role offers exposure to the EdTech industry, client-facing interactions, and practical training in sales communication and relationship-building.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally to diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably within the education or technology sector.
- Comfort with phone-based outreach, email communication, and basic presentation or demo activities.
- Basic proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office or Google Workspace) and willingness to learn CRM or sales tracking software.
- Ability to work on-site in Thane, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a structured manner.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical interest and aptitude).
- Positive, learner-focused mindset with a strong interest in EdTech, educational innovation, and technology-driven solutions.
- Prior internship or project experience in sales, outreach, customer service, or events is an advantage but not mandatory.
